When tension springs are deflected, the spring reduces in diameter and increases in overall length. Bond Spring can engineer torsion springs from different types of material depending upon the application. Our wire types include: Music Wire, Oil Tempered Steel, Chrome Silicon, Monel, Hastelloy, Stainless Steel, and Inconel. Round wire is typically used. Common end styles include: bend offset, hinge, and straight legs. Torsion springs may be wound in a clockwise or counter-clockwise rotation. Double torsion springs also can be made. |
